Our youth are very excited to participate in World Vision’s annual 30-Hour Famine on March 8-9, 2013. They are fasting for 30 hours to raise money to fight childhood hunger. They will spend the weekend learning about kids in other countries facing starvation as well as participating in service projects around our church and community.
We were blessed to drop off 34 boxes–packed full of toys, stickers, and hope–for Operation Christmas Child. This is a great opportunity to show the love of Christ, and we are thankful for the gospel ministry follow-ups that happen after the children receive their gift boxes.
